OUR RETURN POLICY

 

RETURN POLICY:

This return policy is exclusive to the dash cameras and all accessories sold by SecuritySystems.Com.

Unlike many companies that have ambiguous return policies, our goal is to alleviate any misunderstandings that may arise in the event your dash cam does not meet your expectations and you want to return it for a refund OR REPLACEMENT.

Please read this ENTIRE policy which includes the explicit instructions to facilitate any return for a refund or replacement.

RETURN INSTRUCTIONS

SecuritySystems.com offers a 21 DAY refund of the purchase price minus a $5.00 restocking fee. Shipping & handling charges are not refundable as naturally this is an expense we incurred and can not be recouped or refunded by the shipper.

Please note this referenced 21 days applies ONLY to a return.  YOUR DASH CAMERA HAS A ONE YEAR WARRANTY or Life Time Warranty IF this option was purchased.

THREE WEEKS is a very reasonable time to test and decide if you want to keep your purchase. 

Returns MUST be sent utilizing the U.S. or Canadian Postal (Fed Ex. & UPS do not deliver to our return processing address at the U.S. Post Office)

IMPORTANT!  Your return post mark date MUST BE NO MORE THAN 21 days from the date our delivery tracking indicates the product was received by you.

Following your on-line purchase or check you mailed us you will receive a confirmation e-mail with the shipping and Tracking information for verification of the date your purchase was delivered to your address.

IMPORTANT!   Any returns we receive with a post mark date beyond the 21 days of your receipt of the purchase is not eligible for a refund and will be refused, eventually making its way back to you.  An e-mail will be sent to you indicating your return was refused as it was post marked beyond the 21 day return window as explained in our return policy.

IMPORTANT!    Please Save the Box!  Your dash cam MUST be returned in the original box.  No return will be accepted for a refund unless it is in the original box accompanied by ALL the included accessories and manual.

Any return missing the box, manual or any accessories IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR A REFUND

If additional accessories were purchased, I.E., an extra mounting bracket or power cable,   these are also eligible for a refund provided they are included with the main return.

IMPORTANT!  Please note any extra accessories MUST be returned with the dash camera.  Any accessories subsequently returned regardless of the post mark date are not eligible for a refund.

IMPORTANT! Our return policy does NOT apply to products that have obvious “man made” damage. The dash cam and mounting brackets are not made out of steel, rather ABS plastic.

RETURN INSTRUCTIONS

 

TO RETURN YOUR DASH CAM AND ANY ACCESSORIES ADHERE TO THE PARAMETERS PREVIOUSLY OUTLINED AS WELL AS THESE EXPLICIT INSTRUCTIONS.

DO NOT RANDOMLY SEND BACK YOUR PURCHASE. 

Step 1.  SEND US AN E-MAIL TO:  INFO@SECURITYSYSTEMS.COM 

Step 2. IN THE SUBJECT LINE WRITE:  REQUESTING R.A. #

Step 3.  IN THE BODY OF THE E-MAIL THIS STATEMENT MUST APPEAR:

"I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND YOUR RETURN POLICY"

Step 4.  Along with this statement indicate The product you purchased and  THE REASON you want a refund or replacement.

Step 5. PLEASE Use the e-mail you purchased with on-line.  If possible compose your e-mail by replying back to the confirmation e-mail you received from us following your purchase.

Once we receive your e-mail we will then reply back and issue the R.A. # to accompany your return. RA numbers are only issued (to the original purchaser) upon receiving your e-mail with the requisite statement and information.

REPLACEMENT:

 

If you want a replacement because you assess the dash cam or any accessory to be defective, please describe the perceived problem. In some cases our support team may be able to assist in alleviating the problem. If a replacement is in the best interest we’ll respond indicating to follow the return policy.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY RETURN THAT HAS NOT BEEN ASSIGNED A RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER
